Thank you for coming to my website and making it this far!

To let you know a little bit about me, I am a 2024 graduate from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, with a degree in Film and Tv Production, now working as a freelance filmmaker, documentarian, and editor in Los Angeles.

I spent my time at USC in the advanced tracks for both Cinematography and Editing, completing five 20-minute short thesis films as an editor, and working as a Cinematographer with the use of the Arri Mini, Sony Fx9 and Venice, the Arri SR3 16mm camera, and the Panavision Panaflex 35mm camera. While four of the thesis films I edited are just now entering the Festival Circuit, one of the films I edited, entitled "Waves Apart", premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, was a finalist in the Student Academy Awards for 2022, won the Best Edit designation at the International Surf Film Festival Anglet in France, and won the Jury Award for Best Documentary at the American Pavilion in the Cannes International Film Festival. Outside of USC, I have more than 10 years of experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and Avid Media Composer, as well as 5+ years of working with Davinci Resolve. I spent a year working as a Vault Manager and Media Manager at Exile Edit, a boutique post house in Santa Monica, interned with the Academy of Motion Pictures for their Gold Rising Internship Program, and was recently hired on my first feature documentary film as the sole Freelance Editor.

Before USC, I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Oregon with honors distinction and degrees in Political Science and Cinema. While I was an undergraduate, my most inspiring work experience took place in 2019 when I worked as a video consultant for Population Services International in their Laotian office, located in Vientiane, Laos. Throughout one Summer, I led and worked with a local Laotian film team to write, produce, shoot, and edit 22 public service videos dealing with sexual rights, disease prevention, and women's health issues in five different languages. My time in Laos was highly rewarding, and I left the experience with a greater understanding of myself, the world, and its people. It has greatly impacted me and my goals for the future, as I now seek to use the medium of film to create real, impactful, and inspiring international stories for international audiences to view, learn from, and ultimately be reminded of the beautiful fact that we are all human regardless of our differences, boarders, and nationalities.

Now in 2024 with these experiences and my MFA degree behind me, I am currently working as a freelance Film Editor, filmmaker, and collaborator. I’m always searching for the next project, new opportunities, and new collaborators within the film industry. I hope to continue making films for the rest of my life, and hopefully a few that can make an impact for the better.

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read this. Contact me if you are interested in collaborating or finding an Editor!
